George Orwell born in India, in 1903, was a British novelist, essayist, journalist and critic. His real name was Eric Arthur Blair. A staunch critic totalitarianism he wrote political essays and fiction including the satirical political novels Animal Farm (1945) and Nineteen Eighty -Four (1949). He called his book, Animals Farm: A Fairy Story. His lucid and in-depth authenticity of style is his most outstanding quality that kept him alive in the literary world.
